TESTIMONIALS

"We hired Gabrielle as a guest speaker to present virtually to our community of Moms at MotherNation. They were easy to work with, communicative, curious, and professional in the planning stages. When the event came, they were brought energy, enthusiasm, intelligence and thoughtfulness to the answering questions on a broad range of climate topics, including - graciously - how we can raise our kids to be as activated in social justice as they are! I highly recommend working with Gabrielle."
- Annie Bacon, former Community Manager of MotherNation

"Gabrielle is an excellent math tutor, and tutored our daughter on 5th grade math from from September 2021 through April 2022. We really appreciated Gabrielle's clear and straightforward tutoring style, as well as their friendly attitude. [Gabrielle] was able to explain any math-related questions quickly and to our and our daughter's full satisfaction."
- Ashraf Khan, father of a math student

"Gabrielle is an incredible speaker! I've worked with them numerous times at SMYAL where they've led workshops and trainings for youth and adults on LGBTQ+ issues including:  "Advocacy in Action: Achieving Youth-Led Change" keynote panelist at Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools Gender & Sexual Orientation Diversity Conference (March 2021), Co-led “Existence is Resistance: Surviving and Thriving in Unprecedented Times” workshop at the Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools Gender & Sexual Orientation Diversity Conference (March 2021), and “Organizing Student and Community Protests” workshop at SMYAL’s Rise Up Conference (July 2021). If you are looking for a compelling and knowledgable speaker, I'd highly recommend Gabrielle!"

"I met Gabrielle several years ago and was fortunate to have them teach my elementary aged son music. They were much disciplined, punctual and organized in the program that they set up for him. The lessons included both voice and ukulele – teaching him how to read music, perform in front of others, as well enjoying the classes! I was particularly impressed how they coached him to sing in Spanish (Marc Anthony songs, for example) – knowing our heritage. They spoke of the value of language and how important it was to choose Spanish, to maintain it and to learn about successful musicians that stem from the Latino community."
